Rooibos is free from sugar and caffeine. Suitable for children.Rooibos originates from South Africa and has become immensely popular through at the world. It can be drunk hot or cold, with or without milk or sweeteners. The flavour is aromatic, refreshing and sweet. It contains several minerals like calcium, potassium and magnesium. It is a favoured drink in South Africa as it is traditionally known to be easy on a sensitive tummy and to 'lift the spirit'
Warm the teapot and tea cups
Use fresh water - Better still use spring or filtered water
Boil water to 90c - Or boil the jug & let cool for about 5 mins
Use 1 tsp per teacup (200ml) - 1 heaped tsp per mug
Steep tea for 3 minutes - Can steep for up to 5 mins
If a stronger brew is required use more tea
Can add milk. Try with a slice of lemon and a little bit of sugar or honey.
Caffeine free.
