Black tea with spices. A warm, spicy & fruity brew. A perfect winter tea to drink beside an open fire.
The Swedish established tea trading with China in 1731. Some imported tea was then promptly smuggled into England, under-cutting the English high prices reuslting from the monopoly of English tea traders.
Directions:
Warm the teapot and tea cups
Use fresh water - Better still use spring or filtered water
Boil water to 90c - Or boil the jug and let sit for a few minutes
Use 1 tsp (2g) per teacup (200ml) - 1 heaped tsp (3g) per mug
Steep tea for 3 minutes - Can steep for up to 5 mins
If a stronger brew is required use more tea
May add milk and/or sugar
Composition: Black tea, cinnamon pieces, orange peel, almond, ginger pieces, cloves, cardamom, natural flavour.
