Aged Oolong. In China, yellow tea belongs to the group of teas with the oldest traditions. It is unusual to obtain yellow tea outside of China.Yellow tea is typically yellow in colour. The flavour is sweet, spicy yet crisp and clean. Often yellow teas have a slight chestnut flavour.
Directions
Warm the teapot and teacups
Use fresh water- better still use spring or filtered water
Water temperature 80c - Or boil the jug & let cool for about 5 mins
Use 1 tsp per teacup (200ml) - 1 heaped tsp per mug
Steep 3 minutes.
If a stronger brew is required use more tea
Traditionally drunk on it's own.
